Spring is here and it is time to get on the water! We have a great line up of demo days this year to help you discover the world of paddling. You can “test drive” the best boats and boards – all for free. To ensure that we have the kayak or SUP models that you are interested in- we are asking participants to pre-register.

This is a unique time of year where snowfall in our mountains is great, and yet temperatures are mild enough for paddling. Well- now you can combine both of these activities in one day. Join us for a very special Sunshine Coast experience- the snow to sea tour.

In the morning we will explore Dakota Ridge via snowshoe. Recent snowfall has been excellent- with more in the forecast.

Lunch is supplied by Straight Coffee

In the afternoon we head off kayaking in Sechelt Inlet.

The fee is $199 per person- (not including taxes or optional gratuity for the guide). Min 2 participants.

Kids Winter Adventure Day Camp- Tuesday March 6

Kids winter adventure trip on Tuesday. $55 per kid plus HST. Ages 9-12. Kids must be able to hike 2 km. Drop off at our wc shop at 830 am pickup at 315. Activities are- snowshoeing- tobogganing – snow fort building. Kids to bring their own lunch. Min 7 to run program- max 10. Call 604.885.8838 to book.

1st Annual Sunshine Coast Winter Fest – 2012! This event will be a yearly tradition- featuring recreational snowshoe and cross country ski races, product demos, clinics, and more fun!

When- Saturday March 10th, 2012

Where: Dakota Ridge – 10am-4pm

Profits will be donated to the Dakota Ridge Jackrabbits Ski Program!

Dakota Ridge is now officially open for winter operations. We had our first Cross Country Ski Lesson and Shuttle run on Dec 17. There is over 3 ft of snow! Join us for a tour or lesson. Trail passes for Dakota can be purchased at our outdoor adventure store in Wilson Creek.
